How To Maintain Restored Headlights.

At JT Restorations, every headlight restoration is finished with a UV-protective coating designed to help maintain clarity, appearance, and long-term durability.

To maximise the lifespan of your restored headlights, we recommend:

• Washing regularly with gentle automotive wash products

• Removing bug splatter and bird droppings promptly

• Avoiding harsh chemicals and strong degreasers

• Limiting exposure to aggressive automatic car washes

• Parking undercover where possible to reduce UV exposure

Future Maintenance 

Over time, UV exposure and environmental wear naturally affect all headlights. If you notice the finish beginning to dull in the future, maintenance top-ups may help extend the life of the restoration before heavier oxidation returns.
